Autumn Woods is honored to participate with the Veteran’s Administration to provide care to those who have proudly served our country.
You have made significant sacrifices. Often, these sacrifices lead to chronic health issues which require the need for nursing facility care and/or short-term respite services.
At Autumn Woods, we work primarily with the John Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit; however, veterans from all over the country can be referred for care at our facility.
The VA refers veterans to our facility for care that is not able to be provided in the home. We understand your needs and are proud to be the only facility in the state of Michigan to have a dedicated unit for veterans. We find great benefits in placing veterans among other veterans, as they are the only ones who truly understand the physical and emotional toll that their service has brought on.
Some veterans may be eligible for the Veterans Administration to cover the cost of their care depending on their service-connected disability status. If you are unsure about your status, we can help you find out.

Autumn Woods accepts VA benefits, Medicaid, Medicare and private insurances. Our professional staff will assess your insurance needs and assist you in maximizing your coverage.
A Medicaid Specialist will help you protect your assets and file your application, if needed. There is no need to incur the expense of an attorney.
