Autumn Woods Health Care Facility is pleased to offer a state-of-the-art ventilator care unit. This 30-bed unit is the first of its kind in Macomb County and is designed to provide progressive care for patients in need of long-term ventilator support while providing comfort, monitoring and a full spectrum of long-term care services.
The unit also features a specialized physical and occupational therapy program for individuals working to wean themselves from ventilator support through rehabilitation.

All of our 30 vent beds are in private rooms. This not only allows for more privacy, but significantly reduces the opportunity for infections.
The private rooms feature large screen televisions, Netflix and tablets to help improve our patients’ quality of life during this critical time. Many of our patients spend time outdoors enjoying the 4 acres of park- like grounds that surround our facility.
Autumn Woods accepts VA benefits, Medicaid, Medicare and private insurances. Our professional staff will assess your insurance needs and assist you in maximizing your coverage.
A Medicaid Specialist will help you protect your assets and file your application, if needed. There is no need to incur the expense of an attorney.
We accept Medicaid, Medicare and private insurances and have an insurance specialist available to assist with questions. Our admissions team can also coordinate transfers for patients from other facilities.
