Vince A. Liaguno to Join Autumn Woods as Executive Director

Autumn Woods Health Care Facility, a leader in providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Vince A. Liaguno as executive director.
In this capacity, Liaguno will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, implement innovative best practices and continue to enhance the facility’s culture for high-quality care.
Liaguno has extensive experience in long-term care, having served as administrator and chief administrative officer at The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton, NY; administrator at Ciena Healthcare at its Grand Blanc and Flint, MI locations; administrator and CEO of Westhampton Care Center in Westhampton, NY; and vice president of health services/administrator of Jefferson’s Ferry Life Plan Retirement Community in East Setauket, NY. In addition, Liaguno had previously held positions at Autumn Woods’ sister facilities, Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue, NY and Smithtown Health Care Facility in Smithtown, NY. “Vince’s proven leadership, industry expertise and commitment to long-term care will be an asset to our team,” stated President Stephen Mercurio, RNMS, LNHA, CAS. “We’re happy to welcome him back into the family.”
Liaguno holds a Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s College and a Master of Business Administration from Dowling College. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators and was named New Administrator of the year in 2006 by the New York Chapter. He holds nursing home administrator licenses through the New York State Department of Health and Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
He resides in Troy, MI and is an award-winning fiction writer, anthologist and pop-culture enthusiast.
